I featured three different scarves in different sizes — a regular square scarf, a large square scarf, and a long rectangular scarf — to demonstrate my favorite ways to tie a head scarf. Some of you have asked for tips on how to keep your scarf in place. I have found that washed silk tends to have the best grip, but using hair spray, texture spray, or dry shampoo on your hair before wearing your head scarf also helps give it a little extra grip. You can also secure with bobby pins, if you desire, but I prefer them without. Watch the video below to learn how to tie a head scarf:
