1. Prep clean, dry hair with a light hold working hairspray. Brush hair to remove any tangles.

2. Separate hair down the center back to create two sections.

3. Start on the left side and brush section to smooth. Separate the left side into two sub-sections.

4. Begin a three-strand braid, working your way upwards. Add small strands of hair as you would with a French braid. Continue adding more hair as you work your way up toward the face.

5. Finish off your braid by back combing the end to secure. Pin the braid out of the way and move to the right side to create the next braid.

6. Brush the right side to smooth. Divide the right side into two sub-sections.

7. Begin your three-strand braid, working your way upwards. Add small strands of hair as you would with a French braid. Continue adding more hair as you work your way up toward the face. Finish off your braid by back combing the end to secure.

8. Take the finished braid from the left side and cross it over to the right side. Secure with a bobby pin.

9. Now, take the braid from the right side and cross it over to the left side. Secure with a bobby pin.

10. Set your style with a hard hold hairspray.
