How would you describe this look?
I started with the full global color application for the dark ashy blonde look. For this look, I wanted to keep the bob classic but still modern and chic. I shaved the back a bit and then textured the top for hair to have a smoother blend.
The sides are little longer than the back and come on an angle. I blow dried with the round brush and then used a flat iron to make it even smoother. It’s very easy to style for the client every day, just a little bit of product and a round brush blow dry will be great.
Any advice for someone considering it?
You should understand that it’s a short haircut and will need much more maintenance. The cut will need to be done every six weeks in order to maintain its shape. Also, hair cannot be tied back, so one should be ready to keep hair open all the time.
As far as face shape is concerned, this look is suitable for all face shapes except for someone with very small face circumference, since it will cover the sides of face and jaws and will make face appear even smaller.
The products I used to achieve this look is The Smoothing Lotion by KMS and a thermal spray serum section by section as I used the flat iron.

Any advice for someone considering it?
First thing, I always tell my clients who are considering any sort of cut that is above the shoulders is the maintenance. Many people think short hair means less maintenance, which is not always the case. In order to keep the length, shape, and style of a short cut, scheduling a trim every 6-8 weeks is needed.
Having shorter hair myself, I find I have to consistently blow dry my hair or style it with a hot tool to feel “put together”. But not to say that that is a “con”, it just depends on what your lifestyle and hair texture calls for.
At the end of the day, you should have the mindset that you wear your hair and your hair does not wear you. Chop it off! Go for it! Love it!
P.S. As far as face shapes go, this haircut is most suitable on oval and heart-shaped faces.

This fun, funky style was inspired by the look of fallen autumn leaves. For clients considering a look similar to this, there are two main things to consider: hair type and maintenance.
For instance, this particular client has very fine, straight hair. The added texture in the cut allows her hair to fall and move how she wants without excessive styling. Clients who have very thick, coarse, curly hair would rock this inverted bob much differently. Those clients may struggle more in the morning, spending extra time styling to achieve the same effect as a client with fine, straight hair. Also, for those trying to grow out a pixie, this is a great transitional style to avoid the inevitable shag that the grow out process entails.
The maintenance is also something to keep in mind when considering a fashion color like this. Regular touch-ups are required, as well as home care. To keep it fresh and maintain longevity, clients need to wash their hair less often and with cooler water, use sulfate-free products, and heat style with lower heat.

Go for it! It’s such a great cut for almost any type of hair! If a client has naturally curly hair, you’ll want to cut it just a bit longer than where the length desired will be. This is because when dried and curled, it will be shorter. I also do this for those with thicker, more coarse hair. Soft layering through the back will help add volume and texture, as well.
When thinking of face shape, the longer front allows you to customize the look for each person. You can leave the front face-framing pieces straight and sleek, or add a bit of an angled bang.

When I thought about this haircut, I thought of the woman who wanted to demonstrate security but did not want to lose femininity. Without a doubt, the best thing about this haircut is the full shape, little layers with an important graduation, which gives a strong look but at the same time the sensation of lightness. It is a more rock and decisive reinterpretation of one of the history haircut: the “bob”. With this look, you have the opportunity to wear a “cult” hair look but in a modern way.
About hair color, an eccentric coppery, I wanted to give even more character to the final look. Obviously I “played” with the color gradation using up to 3 different copper tones, applied in sequence on roots, medium length and ends, magically joined together thanks to the “ColorMelting”. The styling is really simple – the full shape gives the right fullness to make everyday management easy.
Any advice for someone considering it?
Just do it! Without thinking too much! Character, practicality, and style are the strengths of this look. It is suitable for every woman, as long as she wants it. I do not really like to necessarily assign a cut shape to a face shape, as it would be reductive and penalizing both for the hairstyle and for the woman. The only rule is to feel it over, just feel it.
A tip I can give for a look always at the top is that for drying hair, as well as having used a shampoo and conditioner suitable for your hair type, thin or frizzy, colored or sensitized, apply a pre-fold product and proceed with a very slow hairdryer drying. By removing the hair dryer’s beak and at a medium speed, you should only with circular movements start to dry the hair. When they will be almost completely dry with a hairbrush, accompany the hair in the desired direction without forcing too much. Finally, obviously, in the case of thin or frizzy hair, a good styling product is essential for an optimal result. All that remains is to try and do it.

How would you describe this look?
This haircut was done using a feather razor. I created a full outline of a blunt inverted bob and then went into the interior of the cut and did some shatter layers from her crown pulling everything forward and customizing it to her face shape and a nice side fringe to complete the cut.
The greatest thing about this cut is that it is versatile for almost any hair texture. You can wear this haircut naturally curly, beach textured, and straight as a board. It’s a perfect on-the-go style.
For her color, I did a full foil highlight using small sheer slices and weaves. I also added a few baby lights around the face. I created a shadow root with Redken shades 5na and toned the rest with shades 9T and 9p and clear.
I styled her using IGK Good Behavior and did a quick round brush blow dry. After she was dry, I just picked up sections here and there and did a loose wave with my flat iron. Finished her off with Kenra texture spray and Lanza healing oil hairspray.
Any advice for someone considering it?
This is the perfect hairstyle for a woman who loves to stand out. Whether you wear it natural or styled out and curled, it will turn heads. It’s taking 2 classic styles, the blunt bob, and the stacked bob, and putting a modern spin on them.

This particular haircut and color should be kept up on 4-6 week appointment base just to ensure, consistency in color, as well as the haircut not losing its shape. Face shape is huge when considering cuts and color. My client has more of a diamond-shaped face, so it promotes and accentuates her face shape with the length in the front of her face.
She’s also a client who loves to style her hair. This is particularly a “get up and go” haircut. It takes some effort. Also hair color plays a huge role when selecting color my client has naturally darker features, so using a level 5n at the root melted in to add some contrast to offset the blonde potentially. This is a sleek smooth inverted A-line bob. The sharp clean lines are striking. I love that it is a timeless classy cut yet it still has an edge to it. Sometimes women shy away from shorter styles because they think they can only style it one way, but she naturally has curly coarse hair and loves to wear it smooth, curly, natural, or rock a modern top knot!
Any advice for someone considering it?
It may vary on hair type. If you have finer, smooth, flat hair you may want to use a root booster/mousse/volume spray and blow-dry it with a round brush to help give it a little more body and lift to achieve the nice rounded curved bob.
If you have curly hair you will want to blow dry it smooth to help get those stubborn kinks and curls at the roots and around the hairline. Then finish smoothing with a flat iron. You will need a thermal protector to help shield your hair from the hot iron. You can use an oil to help moisturize and smooth out any flyaways and finish with anti-humidity hairspray to help hold it.
This is a versatile cut and can be worn curly or straight, but it can take some work to smooth it if you have curly hair. So keep in mind you may have to spend a little more time smoothing it out in the mornings!
If you already have straight hair it will have easier maintenance. This cut is great for round face shapes because it help elongates, and works well with most face shapes. If you have a longer face shape you may want to stray away from the inverted bob and have a classic chin-length bob.
