The dancing ghosts in the ballroom scene of the Haunted Mansion ride have always been my favorite. I mentioned on my instagram that I had a dream, of creating this portrait in an actual, antique ballroom, but of course we are in a pandemic and so I shot all of these portraits in my apartment. Maybe one day?
I was trying to decide if I should wear an achromatic outfit or give a gentle nod to the behind the scenes physical ghosts’ colorful outfits, and I went somewhere between the two with a more pastel vibe. You might recognize this dress from a couple years ago, when I dressed as Belle! Quite a different vibe, eh?
